Forum Rules & Guidelines
(Update 13th February 2015)
Section 1:
An opinion is an opinion.
Disagree with someone’s post? challenge it respectfully without aabusing the member. Insults will not be tolerated and will result in the users account being suspended or terminated.
Treat others how you would like to be treated.
If you come across a new member having problems with technical website things that you know how to handle, then why not politely share your knowledge and help them out? Remember when you were a new member and you were asking for help? Return the favour for them.
Respect members personal information.
Never post your or anyone else’s personal information in the public forum (phone number, email address, mailing address, etc.) and never ask others for their personal info. Posts requesting personal info will be removed. This includes, but is not limited to, communications that ask for personal information such as email address, address, telephone numbers, etc. Please use the PM function when submitting any of your own personal details to other members but still exercise care and common sense as we will not take any responsibility in the way your information is used by other members you have chosen to share with.
Section 2:
Spam
Spam is not tolerated on this forum. If any member is found conducting this matter they will be removed immediately.
Spam includes: posting your topic more then once, bumping your own posts, advertising in non-related forums. If you chose to spam, your account and your post(s) will be deleted. If you are unsure if your post(s) are spam please PM a moderator. We are here to help.
Use the search button before posting
Before posting a thread, it is recommended that you use the search button to avoid multiple threads being posted about the same subject. Our search button is located on the top toolbar between "FAQ" and "Memberlist".
You can also use our advanced search feature by clicking here.
Posting and Linking Images
All users may link or post images into the forum. When posting an image please attach the image to the post, by doing this the server will upload the image and create a thumbnail (a smaller version of the picture). By following this process it will keep the forum running efficiently as it will decrease image loading times. By clicking on the thumbnail users will be able to download the full size photo if needed.
By doing this you will not be breaching copyright rules with the image owner/host. Otherwise if the photo is not copyrighted or you own it simply upload it to our photo gallery.
A hot linking image, using the [img] tags, not only uses the host’s bandwidth but can later cause images to be broken [X] as we have no control over images that are not hosted on our servers.
Section 3:
Do not
- Post threads in CAPS as they will be deleted.
- Post using GIANT FONTS with ugly colours.
- Post threads about questions that have already been answered in earlier threads. Use the search button.
- Quote the entire message that you're responding to, only the pertinent passage.
Thank you for taking your time to read these rules and guidelines and we hope you enjoy the Suicide Boys Forums.
If you have any questions regarding the forum guidelines, please do not hesitate to post a thread.
